HTC has announced the One M9+ smartphone this past week at a press event that took place in China.
The new HTC One M9+ packs a 5.2 inch QHD display, MediaTek chipset, and BoomSound speakers. HTC brings back the Duo Camera set up at the rear of the handset. The front of the smartphone features an UltraPixel camera. A fingerprint sensor is found on the front of the device.
HTC’s new smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company’s Sense 7 experience.
The HTC One M9+ will not be launched in the United States or Europe, but will be ready for China. Pricing for the handset is unknown for now.
The HTC One M9+ brings some new features that the One M9 lacked. HTC has made a slightly larger handset that seems to address some complaints some had with the One M9.
