Apple sells many iPhones every year. Most of Apple’s smartphones are high end devices, but what does a consumer do when two devices of high quality are launched at the same time? Apple announced the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus in the fall of 2014. Both devices have a few similarities and a few major differences. The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are both fantastic devices, but one is actually better than the other.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have similar specifications. Both handsets have 1GB of RAM, an A8 chip, iOs 8 software at launch, and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera. Both iPhone models also come with Touch ID, Apple’s fingerprint scanner.
Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus do feature a few major differences as well. The iPhone 6 supports a 4.7 inch screen while the iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch display. The iPhone 6 Plus has a larger battery pack than the iPhone 6. Apple also gives the iPhone 6 Plus and it’s camera optical image stabilization while the iPhone 6 lacks the feature. The iPhone 6 Plus is more likely to bend when compared to the iPhone 6, but only if the handset is not taken care of properly.
Apple has managed to create two great flagship smartphones. The iPhone 6 is for those who must have a pocket friendly smartphone while the iPhone 6 Plus is for those who need a large display, battery longevity, and a slightly better camera. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are amazing handsets and should appeal to it’s buyers.
